Came across someone playing 2m by 4th hand after (1M) p (1N forcing) as the bid suit & the OM. Does this gain significantly over 2m as natural here?

With a passed hand it's ok, but not with an unpassed hand!

I don't like it. Some m+OM hands can still double and over 1 partner has failed to overcall 1 so during then at best we'd only have a 4-4 fit. Not worth giving up a natural 2m I reckon.

I think Chuck Burger is a big fan of this.

I have never ever ever understood it, personally.

Well since you don't play it that means it must be good otherwise you would have said "I love when my opponents play this." So that being said how much of a drubbing have you taken when facing this?

They definitely play this in certain auctions but I'm 95 % sure it's not in this specific one.

I kind of like something sexy after 1min-P-1NT, especially club-notrump. Never tried anything after major-forcingNT.
