I suggest you use the first method.
Our plan is to do a "forced upgrade" to distribute this version
to the general membership within a day or 2 (unless some
serious problems are found between now and then). So please
help us by playing around with this version and reporting any
problems that you find!
The big news about our next forced upgrade is that BBO will
be available in 10 different languages. We are rushing a bit to
release this version so that the people who watch the European
Championship vugraph (which runs through this weekend) will
have a chance to see BBO in their nature languages (at least
if the speak French, Italian, Spanish, German, Portugese, Turkish,
Romanian, Czech, Polish, or of course English).
Some bugs (mostly language-related) were fixed in 3.7.8.
I also think I have fixed a long-standing (and serious) bug that
caused the program to sometimes "freeze" (sympton would be
a white screen for several seconds, if not "forever"), especially
during times of vugraph broadcasts.
If any of you have seen this bug before (it seems to be fairly
common) and you see it again with version 3.7.8 (or later)
