asking whether or

kind of is. See above.

Josh:

Just because you think that you
don't deserve the scorn you get from
ordinary posters like Cascade, doesn't mean that you
need to
needle others like myself.

Sorry if this offends you
unnecessarily but I would be doing the BBF
community a disservice if I didn't mention this.
Kindly refrain from using inflammatory remarks in the future.
Sincerely,

Jdonn, the message to the legislators in California
offered by the esteemed Governor Swartzeneggar
seems after review, on its face to be
honorable to me, but his approach seems dumb.

After all, when I analyze the legislative process, I
never will believe that our misplaced hope of getting
decisions that make sense from lawmakers is expected.

Perhaps the confused and embattled Governor ought to
heed with the wisdom of a good leader some better
ideas, that the ENDS of the work be worthy of his ink.
Look not always at the first idea -- sometimes truth is in the process.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

Looking at the press release, I have a simple - and immediate – reaction. Are we sure that that the
original press release issued by Schwarzenegger has the same set of
Line breaks? Alternatively, could the spacing have been changed by CNN?

Have
a look at

Ammiana, who
had
authored the bill,
had a fight with
Arnie before. See

Hopefully one day
I'll be able to
laugh at such
a silly attempt at
raw humor.
I'm not sure if
one can really
understand what is being
said here
.

He should also have told
everyone that how much he appreciated

such fine members in the
house and that
of course, he could
use more of their brilliant
logic in
determining how best to proceed.

having said that, it is
all well and good and makes me
very happy that
everyone is now typing this way.

to believe that the
old way of typing was
lovely is simply refusing to
display the ability to think vertically.

the very thought that
he could possibly be sending
everyone a subliminal
message is mind boggling.

that he would have to send such a letter to his
own legislature is truly saddening.

Ken Rexford
is the only person who
should be able to
see the logic of this situation.

his method of encoding hidden messages
is something that we
should all aspire to be capable of.

as usual, such brilliance is
susceptible to misuse and
should only be used sparingly.

after all, our military needs to
learn a new
secret code that
obeys no sense of grammar
.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist.

At all. That being said, I have to say I'm
mightily surprised at the 75% figure.

After all, we're a fairly astute bunch.
Maybe the early responders just don't
understand how far beyond
statistical mechanism this goes.

Usually I would
not reply to this but
all the nonsense in Lobowolf's reply
needed addressing!
i know he
might have only adjusted his point to fit
in jdonn's striden-
t restrictions, perhaps even at the expense of correct spelling or,
yes, even logical coherence ---

it's
still quite untrue that 75% is

unimpressive.
never mind the
hypothesized monkeys who
exist with no other purpose than
attack unanimous polls on bbf. there also
r some people who
delight in voting the most improbable

options for amusement or just to
find out the current standings.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

You make a good point.
Each person has
a different perspective as to
how he (or she) interprets data.

Be that as it may, it's really an
unusual sequence of letters
to appear totally at random.

Somehow, given the
totality of circumstances,
I can't quite attribute it to
luck. I have to think others have taken
leave of their senses if they think it's random.

Evenutally this type of
nonsense becomes tiresome
or, worse still, it becomes very annoying
until someone comes up with a new idea which
goes in an entirely different direction
highlighting the silliness of the whole concept.

All we can hope for is that the California
legislature comes back with an equally insulting
response to Arnold's message which will
equate his concealed message with other
attacks leveled at the legislature and they should
demand an apology which will, of course, not
yield the requested response.

Maybe it was just some stupid intern who reformatted the letter that
you linked us to.

Governor Schwarzenegger would never knowingly write a piece like this, but I can
understand how some bored joe-schmoe in a dead end job would possibly
enjoy rearranging the words of an actual letter to create such a coincidence. We
should not be too surprised to hear a cry ouf outrage from the governator's opponents
soliciting a full inquiry into the nature of the letter and asking for heads to roll.

Has anyone considered the possibility that this is an
outright fabrication? It seems to me more likely to be
all made up, than it being like something out of the
x-files.

odd piece of
