Overcalling Preemts.

After a 3h or 4H preempt, what is the minimum you will overcall on with a void in the preemptors suit? I'm intereswted in teh case where partner is still live. Not sure i have a lower limit when partner has already passed :)

4S over 4H can be much weaker than 3S over 3H.

For instance your first example is not close, and your second is clearcut

Theory and sound practice IMO is NO overcalling with preemptive hands over preemptive calls .
