2. I like to bid my suit first then double on these hands, but double initially would be ok as well.

How big a heart suit would partner not open or 2H on 5xH eg. HAQ10xx? In my partnership with a light 1H opener, no chance 2H,3H is on. So 2C.

How can 2 or 3 not be on? Do your preempts really contain 5M332 hands that contain say Q9xxx? But most importantly, double is gaining huge when you're finding the right partial, whether it'd be 1NT or in diamonds or hearts or in clubs! That's just about everything.
