Few days ago, i was on 5.0.3 version on Linux with wine on Kubuntu. It was fine.

BBO says i have to change my version ... too old

I keep 5.2.6 donwloaded and now everytime I run the programm, It work but be freeze on "Updating Convention cards ..." and ... run, run, run ...
Never finish

How some people experiment that ?

I'm on Kubuntu 9.04, running 5.2.6 with Wine no problems.
Well, except when I click on CONV and select "Manage ACBL Convention Cards" I get a new window with the notice "Loading Convention Card List. Please wait..." which doesn't finish loading.

If the Windows client gives you too much trouble, you might want to use the Flash client instead.

Flash is slow and now so usefull. Tchat is limited and you have to click to see profil.

I have a convention card in my profil, but I can't delete with flash version !

There is an option that allows you to see profiles via mouse-over.

After you log in, click the "Options" button on the top of the screen. Then click "More options" on the menu that appears. You will see a window. The option I am referring to is in the "Advanced options" tab of this window.

Regarding the convention card in your profile that you are unable to delete, I don't understand what you are trying to say. If you can provide some details (as many as possible please) I will try to help.

re 5.2.6 under linux/wine

edit c:\bridge base online\bbover.ini

change
LINUX_WINE=N
to
LINUX_WINE=Y

save that file and try again.

I change N to Y in bbover.ini without success.

For the convention card.
When I go on my BBO, convention card. I have a convention card and i want to suppress it for playing with bbo.exe. I click on "supprimer". The flash work and say the suppression is ... but nothing.
