When I am on BBO and the person I have designated as a friend sings on, how can I locate her? I've tried the "find" field, but it takes me to her name and doesn't help me find out where she is playing.

Hold your cursor over their name and it will tell you where they are playing. If you are using the flash version of BBO, you need to turn on the option to show their profile and their location will appear at the top of the profile.

Thanks. How do I know which version of BBO I am using? Flash? What else?

if you're playing from a web browser, having accessed www.bridgebase.com it's the flash version

if you downloaded a program and opened netbridgevu.exe from c:\bridge base online or something like that, it's the other version

I think you're using flash version right now.

If you click the FRIEND tab on the right, your list of friends show up. And if she's online and visible she'll be there.

If you click her name, her profile pops up, and it'll tell you what she's doing. Playing, kibbing or whatever. And you can then easily join her by clicking "Join Table".

Ie,

if go go in on Internet via www.bridgebase.com, it is flash-version.


if you click on a icon on your own computer, it is the downloadable windows-version.
