What are your preferred methods for the opening side in competitive auctions after a 2♣ opening showing 11-15 with 6+ ♣ (may have a 4 card major).
Specifically, how do handle the following:
X
2X
3X
Are there any adaptations if pard is a PH?
TIA...

Just one observation -- I like:
2♣-X-P-?
to be handled with Herbert Negative 2♦. Sort of like Lebensohl after a weak two opening.

I realized that my original post was ambiguous -- I am interested in methods after interference over the 2♣ opening...

Over double we play "systems on" where 2♦ is still the relay and redouble is for blood. This seems to work pretty well.
When opponents overcall it seems like the main decision is whether double should be takeout or penalty. I normally play negative doubles here (and expect opener to reopen with the right shape, at least with better than a dead minimum), but there is a reasonable case for penalty since opener has already shown a six-card suit. I also play 2NT as forcing here, normally showing a good raise of clubs (so 3♣ is just competitive) and forcing free bids.

I like some sort of Rubensohl/Lebensohl continuations with penalty doubles. This lets you describe responder's hand pretty nicely, and you already know this from after interference over 1NT openings (although there you play takeout doubles).

Do you prefer negative Xs over 3-level interference?
It seems that assuming relatively sane opps, X over (3M) should be THRUMP oriented....

No real preference, strangely enough I haven't got much experience with 3-level intervention after 2♣ openings...

This is not an answer.
Our 2♣ opening denies a 4-card major, which is the way to go.
Start opening 1♦ with 4-2-2-5 and similar, or preferably play 4cM.
Over our 2♣, we play responder's double as a strong penalty suggestion. This has been very lucrative.
Rubensohl makes some sense but we play 2-level non-forcing in competition, 3-level forcing.
The other thing we do is play 2NT as a competitive raise (throwing in some other rare strong hands), then 3♣ is constructive.
We do it this way to right-side 3NT when opener has extras.
