The hand occurred in a matchpoint event but as usual I am interested in if you would handle this differently at IMPs.

Pass for now. If they bid 1♠-1NT-2♥ or 1♠-1NT-pass I'll double for takeout; if they bid 1♠-1NT-2♠ I'll risk 2NT.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Maybe 1N warning partner off 4xH coming in. But what is my partnership reoping scheme? Can I handle this for 3m maybe 4m?

I would just pass at this stage note that partner did not make a 2♥ call so a ♥ contract could really be ugly.

At MPs I'd pass planning to back in with 2NT if 2S comes back to me.

At IMPs still pass, but probably not back in.
