2H.

My reason is, that I will face a sure single in spades,
which will allow me to ruff spades, my partner is facing
only a doubleton in clubs, 2H will sound like a 5-3 fit.
Of course we did not get doubled yet, so pass is maybe the
wiser auction.

With kind regards

2 my trumps suck for the 4-3 contract, but I hope partner will rectify to 3 if he's got the 0346. 3 would be too high for 7 trumps, and I am not passing a forcing bid.

Bid 2 so YOU get to play. Actually this will allow you to ruff in the short hand whereas 2 will ruff with the long suit

Hey Justin isn't this forcing?

2 for me.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket
