IMPs, none vul, you hold -- AQT KJT63 JT952.

The auction is P-P-1 to you. Double or 2N? Or something else?

Would your answer change if partner were not a passed hand?

Double is clear IMO with 3 really good hearts and 5 so-so clubs.

2NT leaves you with no rebid after partner's 3m, but I would always double with opening values and 0355 (except something extreme lik xxx KQJxx KQJxx)

B/I question here:

what is

(1S)-2NT-p-3m
p-3H
?

I've always thought this shows 0355 and a good hand. Of course I see how doubling for takeout suits this hand better than 2NT. But then I don't know what the above sequence shows.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Whatever it shows (I agree it should be 0355), it must be a much better hand than the one here. You are forcing to the 4-level!
