Thanks everyone. I goofed up when I led a trump...

My (incorrect) reasoning was that declarer may try to ruff diamonds in dummy and that a trump would not cost + will cut down ruffs in dummy. Unfortunately, my lead gave declarer 12 tricks and a 87% score on this deal.

Before cutting ruffs in dummy you need to have something like Q10xxx in diamonds, sometimes with 4 cards you might as well try it. Also singleton if you know dummy is short is ok.

But Axx is not a good holding for that, on of the worse indeed.
