We have a fit in clubs
They have a fit (and it sure isn't in Spades)
5♣ seems pretty clear
Hand 2: (I am presuming that 2NT shows a spade fit)
I'd bid 3♣, natural and forcing
Hand 3:
4♥. I'll rebid 4NT if they settle into Spades

1. 5C with 4xC fit.
2. Strong Notrump After Pass, SNAP makes 3C GF. Still GF after 2NT =max pass.
3. Overcall Structure uses 2NT>1C as H+2nd with 7 losers. This hand fits that. Without OS, fearing their spades, 1H and fight this one out: H+D vs. S+C likely.

1. 5♣. I might make this on a spade lead, or it might be cold, or it might be a good sac against 4♥. Anyone that thinks they will be able to defend spades is kidding themselves.
2. Depends on what 2N means. If its 11-12 balanced, I bid 4♣. If it promises support, 3♣ looks normal, but I might psyche a cue of 3♥ on my way to 6.
3. 1♥, but have sympathy for 4♥, although I really want the ♥10 for this call. By the way to Dake50: Playing Overcall Structure, 2N does show hearts + another, but the lower count is 0-4 or 0-5, depending on your standards not 7 losers. 2♦ show the weaker hands with ♥/♦. Even if I were playing OS, I wouldn't make either call with 6♥/5♦

Well if I double ... certainly. But a pass in tempo could go through, and might be our best chance at a plus score.

3) 1H. No need to jump around when it could easily be our deal. Even if the opponents do have a big spade fit, I will often get to show my diamonds at a reasonable level. For example after: (1C) 1H (1S) P (2S) 3D (4S) partner is perfectly placed.
