For those who can find the same avatar - or a similar one - that would help too.

I'm still PeterE and couldn't find any penguins here :)

I was Senior Kibitzer at Bridgetalk as I am on Bridge Club Live. Here, on BBO, it was too long, so I used my original internet name of Pig Trader. It's an anagram of my surname! Another anagram is Great Drip, but I thought Pig Trader was preferable!

NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.

I was JoAnneM but didn't post much because I was embarrassed to be from the inferior ACBL, but the ACBL is considered inferior here too, so can't win. :)

What's with the chip on the shoulder about the ACBL? Some (many) folks think your rules about what can and can't be bid and how long it takes to change the mind of anyone in authority are a - well - a bit of joke really. But I don't really notice anything else that I'd call inferior - in fact some countries would be jealous of the wealth of talent at the top the US has.

My post did not refer to players but to the stuff I read here at BBO and other forums about the organization itself. I guess I wouldn't have said if I didn't feel it.

Ah well. Just remember it is easy to criticise from an armchair, eh.

I was Sven, When moving to BBO Forums I "discovered" that I already had a user ID here from some testing done in 2006. I was not comfortable with this user ID because I also had my (different) user ID on BBO, a user ID that Forums rejected.

After some time spent on trying to fix things I now at last have managed to get my BBO user ID to work also on Forums.

Exit Sven Pran

regards Sven
