If you don't open this one 2C, what kind of change would make you do it?

Another Ace, best would be the Ace of spades.

I believe that the USA currently hold only the World Championship For People Who Still Bid Like Your Auntie Gladys - dburn
dunno how to play 4 card majors - JLOGIC
True but I know Standard American and what better reason could I have for playing Precision? - Hideous Hog
Bidding is an estimation of probabilities SJ Simon

I consider myself a king short.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

two suited majors hand with 4 losers never ending debate on bbo.
3 losers makes this an easy 2c for me.
finding rebids for 3 loser major suited hands....is too tough.........too often....
1s=1nt
3h does not help me....
2c=2d
2s tells pard 4 loser hand max.......granted I still got issues.

I am about a king short, although the majors hand isn't too bad to bad over partner's 2♦ bid... Otherwise it's miserable though.
Yay for the "Ignored Users" feature!

Add a major suit jack and I probably would, or at least consider it.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

Easy 1♠ opener, IMO. Give me an ace, and I'd at least consider 2♣....

I suggest you to play some kind of leaping michaels after 2C opening and to jump to 3M with 4M and 6m hands, those 2 big suiters are a frequent problems.
Unless you have a specific way to deal with those hands i suggest to wait having 9.5 tricks before opening them 2C. (your missing a Majors Jack to open 2C imo)

From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."
