It's easy because the inbetween hands of KQ9xx and KQTxx aren't offered.

Agreed, then I think it would depend a lot on the exact style of your 11-15, but I'd lean towards 2N. If my 11-15 was a lot of 10 counts I would probably be content with 2H though.

I would 2n these hands.

At the table, I held the T in the above suit and didn't 2n. The other table did, and game was a maker with sAx in pard's hand and sQx onside.

jlall nailed this one. What 11's are opened? Only good prime cards and honored hearts or many non-descript just having 11hcp? Clearly moving up if good 11 is certain. Simple preference 2H, but 2S with Q.
