Maybe PASS or maybe 1NT.
There is not much to gain from 1NT especially if you open very light.
I believe that the USA currently hold only the World Championship For People Who Still Bid Like Your Auntie Gladys - dburn
dunno how to play 4 card majors - JLOGIC
True but I know Standard American and what better reason could I have for playing Precision? - Hideous Hog

We are all connected to each other biologically, to the Earth chemically, and to the rest of the universe atomically.
We're in the universe, and the universe is in us.

Had it been MP's, X and 1NT.
Do not underestimate the power of the dark side. Or the ninth trumph.

I'd probably have overcalled 1♥, a suit where we might actually want to play a 4-3 fit, in contrast to the spade suit. Pass is OK too.
Once we've passed on the first round, the arguments for 1♥ are even stronger. Partner knows that I don't have five, so what can I have but a good four-card suit? Double should surely show more equal majors than this. My second choice is 1NT, which would also be a better overall description than double.

Might not a second round overcall show a reasonable hand with a bad five-card suit.
