4, the most probable game. The T is a huge card playing in hearts.
Kind regards,

4. It's not clear how useful the hearts will be in spades, but they will be useful in hearts. It doesn't take much for this to make. I agree that T makes a big difference. A 6-card suit with an excellent 4th-highest card doesn't need much support.

I have read the comments but I cannot construct more hands where 4 spade is worse then 4 heart then vice versa, so I woukld bid 3 .

Really? Any hand where you can pitch spades on partner's clubs means you don't have to worry about spade losers so much when playing hearts. If partner has bad clubs, you might get forced out of your hearts when playing in spades.
When is spades better?

When partner has bad clubs we may ruff them, whithout getting too short in trumps.
When he has bad clubs, they lead them and I have to ruff twice which may be too much when one of the opps has 4 HEarts. And on which hand can you discard your spade loser on clubs? xxxx,x,xx,AKQxxx? Surely possible, but maybe not too likely.
Kind Regards

Roland

No need for such drastic examples. Axxx xx xxx KQxx. QJxx xx Qxx AKxx and a 4-1 spade break. Etc.

But in your examples hand you are quite often down too when they realisze their spade ruff. Okay, maybe this is not too likely in example one, but there you will lose any game. And in example two they have more then one chance to realisze their spade ruff, so this is not the best example either.

I guess when spades are 4-1 you are always in trouble, even in 4 hearts.
Kind Regards

Roland

Thanks so much for all nice inputs :P

I hope at least one player agrees about :

It could easily be right to play hearts and miss 5-4 spade fit, tho there's a risk to find weak fit. Partner was only competing. If he has good clubs and bad spades then picking a self-sufficient suit is fine. He only needs at least one ace to make game. Anyways noone can guess they are aceless or not. So i am really unsure about 3 correct sequence or 3 correct value.

What I am sure - no offense please - if I am not dead wrong 3 is a game try with a great shape and 4 likely to work as a slight overbid.
