Reopen, yes, but with what?

I suppose I would double, but 1NT is very tempting for positional reasons.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

I think 1NT is too deep. You have both majors and only a doubleton club, keep it simple I say.

By the way, what on earth is this thread doing in the A/E forum?
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

Easy double. Partner won't hang you since you are a passed hand.

Double. Partner should bid 1NT with diamond preference and 1 to suggest playing 1NT. Just kidding.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

Cuebid of 2 shows 3rd round diamond control and asks for the spade jack?

2NT should be LTT3 now :(

Never. Partner already overcalled with 4-5 spades, 4-5 hearts, M-M cue, 1D if 5+D decent or hoped I'd respond 1M, power double if 15+. What could my target be? Give opener a second bite for a superior partial? maybe game on his 20+ points finding a fit/source of tricks?

I have a balanced average/expectable hand. Partner already bid expecting (on average) about 7 of these points.

We could play transfers over this double, if we are willing to give up on the option of playing 1.

X.

And it is certainly not close, given that you are 4-4
in the majors, you dont need to worry, that they end
up in 4M= after you reopend.

I personally like the idea.
