You seem to have a remarkably good hand in support of . However one cannot tell whether partner's bid intended as a make or a sacrifice. Partner may not have known either.

Both subbers on BBO.

Well, technically "w" is a vowel in this context.

I made a takeout double of 1.

I'm also sad someone beat me to the LL.

Scoring: IMP

Partner might have also bid four spades with something like this >
AJT9XXX XXX QX X
For sure he could tell from th bidding that you were short in hearts. Even if partner should hold a decent hand, there is no way to tell how well th hands fit. If you were invite a slam, he wont have any basis for knowing when to accept th invitation.

So a simple pass wins all th marbles? Seems luck is in. Lefty doesn't have a hand justifying a five-heart bid (which probably drive opp to five spades); and against spades East guesses to lead th ace of clubs. If South passed, plus 450 (two club ruffs represent East's only hope to beat four); if South bid on, minus 50 (against five, East's best chance, once he sees th table, is to shift on diamonds).

"I made a take out double" is not allowed. The vowel concentration is too high (58 %).

Don't come to Denmark, we have added three vowels to the alphabet, and removed W. So we have 28 letters.

The three ekstra vowels looks like this (hope they show correctly):

- Æ
- Ø (Also the word for "Island")
- Å (Also the word for a small river.)
