Last night I was asked to help a group of beginners practise bidding weak two bids. The ability to use a dealing script is very useful but is it possible to generate hands based on the dealer rather than seat position?

This would mean that every hand was opened a weak two and it would rotate around the table, ideal for teaching. I know how to force this to happen for a specific seat (say, West) but then players have to rotate into that hand.

So i think I am asking for a new direction so we have: north, south, east, west and dealer. But I guess I'd soon be asking for dealerLHO, dealerCHO and dealerRHO too

Any thoughts?

I asked about this a while back (http://forums.bridge...showtopic=31248).

Since then I have used a work-around of generating a set of hands with the required constraints and then importing those.

dealer scripts?

Is this a feature of the new web interface?
