Hi,
After Opps bid 2 suits the probabilities of our game are reduced dramatically. 3NT is out of question. Still there is a slight chance for 4, but our partner did not overcall 2 so in my view best bid for us now is to PASS
Regards

Lots of defensive strength here, and no offense. Presumably 2S is forcing, so they'll be going somewhere, and it's not likely you are.

Bring out the pass card very quickly. If partner has a good suit he can bid it, although this is unlikely given his first pass

I think you should check this, if it is forcing, pass.

Pass as many others said... My first thought was "is 2 forcing?", but it doesn't change my bid. I don't have enough for 2NT, don't have a long suit of my own,... Let partner get into the auction again, nobody plays 2 after such auction on my table

3Nt isn't a contract you want to be in here. Just because the spades happen to block and neither opponent has anything resembling their bids doesn't mean that you want to play it.

Not that i see how you are going to make 3nt here, but even if you could it doesnt matter, you cant get 100%, misho has a nice sentence about perfection.

Pass.
I have not really any place to play. I will sit back and see what is happening next.

If opps alert it as just 5+ suit they have to give more info then that. If it is not forcing it needs to be disclosed.

If Sth has any S pip at all 2S goes off anyway. Try 1D 1C 3H and the 13th H. 3N is a poosr contract and I cannot see how it made. If 2S was non forcing it should have been alerted, but as others have said, I would still pass.

I have to 10 (its shown in the first post)

I led 2, taken by A
return which I won with 9
I returned 3 to setup my 10
(my bad play I assume)

Which should I lead and why?

Hi Jilly,

Things went wrong when you led A, which lets them make a trick with Q. A club (possibly safest), diamond, low heart, or low spade would have been ok on the actual distribution ;) You can use Deep Finesse to help analyse the play, though remember it's a double dummy solver so won't always suggest the 'correct' play,
