Ive returned the J of D, hoping partner got Ax or QXX and declarer misguess. Declarer won on dummy and play spades, to get full mark you have to hop with the spade ace and returned diamonds.
Partner managed to make his D queen. Declarer did make a mistake by ducking a H to his Jx and winning the D in dummy is probably inferior to winning in hand but he probably felt that i had more chance of playing the J from QJx(x) than from Jx(xx)
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."
