I'd pass. Misplaced ♠K, honours in the short suits, no honours at all in my longest suit, risk of playing a 4-2 club fit or a 4-3 diamond fit, partner who couldn't bid over 2♠, and a nasty red stripe on the board.

Double, intending to pass 3♣. Since you (Nuno) like Robson/Segal, I'd like to mention that doubling and pulling shows extra values and your longest suit when you scramble like this. They do not write this explicitly but you can see that from their example hands.

You actually want to play in 3♦ opposite a 3334 10-count? You must really hate defending.

That is correct. The ELC of Robson/Segal does show some extras. Now, how much "some extras" means is anybody's choice :)

Oh, and gnasher, yes, I prefer to play the hand :D

You bid diamonds first but in their book this would be 5+ diamonds and 4 hearts.
