Myself, and 2 other BBO members noticed something a bit unusual yesterday; if this has been asked or discussed before, please ignore, or delete Ben (but let me know where I can find the answer

When announcements are made to lobby from any location (tourney, private table, kibber) you see <lobby> next to the name; yesterday there were many ads in lobby without that; it seemed as if people were talking at the table; I also noticed a player's name, adding in lobby with <kibbitzers> next to his nick. I usually have lobby chat turned off, but I don't remember any of this before.... as i said 2 other people commented on this.
Is it a new feature, so we can tell where the announcement is coming from, or is it a bug?

i think it is meant to learn us count... if i host a tourney now and if i get to a table and i ask: 'can i help?' i see somtimes 5 answers and they all look like made on the table...

THis is a bug that was introduced 2 days ago with the last server update.
As far as I can tell, all works as it always did, but some chat to lobby does not identify the source with a xxx-->Lobby prefix

I'll fix this when we have a minute. I'm not rushing, but i hope to have it fixed today or tomorrow.

I think specs have always seen lobby chat, Mirjam.

For quite sometime know, occassionaly one chat will come through to me while I am in the lobby that look like this...

This has been happening long before the latest server update, but occurs at about once every two or three days.

sure uday, but now there are many messages to lobby without (Lobby) after it, so i have to look well which remarks come from table and which are from players in main...

and yes, i have same as ben and today i was kibbing a table and i tried to send a chat to lobby and it went to the kibitzers.. so i said sry .. made VERY sure my message was going to lobby and again it was sent to the kibs...

M, that has always been this way as well. When a spec sends lobby chat, the lobby chat is visible to all specs. the only thing different is that the mirjam-->lobby is missing from the printed chat.
