Help
I want to present some hands on a TV or projector (using a laptop of course). What program can I use to do this? Which one is more user friendly and/or allows me to show really big cards, follow an auction or play and change that auction or play?

If you don't want to use the BBO Software with a prepared .lin file.
You can try http://www.bridgify.net/ to playback a .pbn file. But probably the cards are not big enough.

I would recommend using HandViewer, and just projecting the computer screen. IMO this is a hassle free, easy way to do it.

I was thinking BBO but I need to learn to use a 'teaching' table better. Also it looks better on the browser-based version, but, where in the PC is the folder to save the .lin files I need to use? In the normal downloadable program I know, but in the other...
HandViewer looks excellent but, what if I want to show a different line? What if I want to show the progress of the bidding? Can it be done?
bridgify looks really small but I might give it another look, thanks.
What about Baron, Jack5, or those playing programs? Could they be used?

I believe that bridge baron might be able to be used for this purpose... In fact I'm pretty sure that it can. I think you can input bidding and play, but then go back and change bidding and play, to create an alternative line...

Bridge Baron can display large cards, but the bidding is a bit small:

Jack is nice for viewing pbn files. It's easy to change the line of play. The display of cards and calls is good.

I don't know enough about other tools to compare. Would be interested in your opinion after you've looked around.

Can I use the demo version for my purposes? Can I use it 'forever'? Does it look better, bigger than Baron?

I don't know if you can use the demo forever. For me, it's hard to weigh pros and cons without actually taking the software for a spin which you can certainly do with the demo.
