Well on the actual hand I'd rather play 4HX. The Ts is a big card here.

I wasn't talking about the actual hand with its 5-5 heart fit, just a random balanced 21 count (which obviously can't have diamond length) opposite the problem hand.

On the actual hand, the 5NT call to look for a grand slam is really hoping for magical card play by Brad Moss.

The less experienced partner is, the more one whould pass 3D (and have a tough lead problem - Trick 1 is the last time you will be able to lead through dummy to partner), because inexperienced players tend to overbid strong hands more than experts do.

Besides the fact that it may be impossible to erode Moss's confidence, I would not worry about this and just try to find the call that has the highest IMP expectancy.
