I agree. 3NT directly is what I would have chosen too. But whatever.

I thought the LOL was at puppet stayman being so much more revealing than regular stayman, not at the fact puppet stayman was being played. But maybe your interpretation is right, not sure.
I also think duck the spade to east initially is clear. I root for him to return the club queen so I can duck it and try to read the hand better later.

Not a bad point, but it depends what you intend to do if a Q or J (or 9?) of spades pops up on your left on the first round. You might just want to play a spade right back to your 8. But certainly it's at least worth thinking about whether to lead the 8 or not.

So many experts, not enough X cards.

If it wins, I try a spade toward the 8, hoping to be able to play the 8, which yields lots of options. If RHO plays an honor, I win before playing on hearts. However I guess round three in hearts, I'll assume that I guessed wrong. I'll then try for Q-J tight in spades. If that fails, I'll hope for LHO to have two spades and RHO two clubs, for a club endplay and trick #9 in diamonds at the end.
If the Queen of diamonds is coeveredc, I'll duck the return and then win round three. I can now deep finesse spades toward RHO. When RHO wins something and returns a probable club, I'll decide what to do about spades and hearts.

See if you can do it double dummy.

I have two spades, one diamond, two clubs, and three hearts for sure, for 8 tricks. I will be able to discover the problem in hearts without being forced to guess anything.
It smells like a squeeze. On a third heart, RHO must unguard clubs to save spades. On the third spade, LHO gets to pitch after me. So, back up...
On a third spade, LHO must unguard his club 10 to save four hearts. Now, if I win the third heart in dummy, RHO is squeezed.
I have to commit to this line, as it ruins the option for a finesse in hearts. But, if LHO has only two spades and only three diamonds, he probably can be placed with the heart Jack.
The question, then, if whether RHO can mess things up by not cashing the established diamond...
In that event, I want LHO endplayed, forced to lead a heart, but I cannot pull that off. Or, I want some other trick to lose, but I have nothing available. So, I think "double dummy" I fail if RHO does not cash the established diamond.
Not sure, but I'm going with NO.
