If I lead a heart spot, partner might reasonably expect me to have Hxx (did I have a way to make a constructive raise to the 3-level?) though that probably won't prevent me from leading a heart. Maybe the king so that partner can let me win the trick when a diamond through is right and can overtake when a club through from his side is right.

K, maybe I'll be able to keep the lead in case some special play is required or called for by having a look at dummy.

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

Besides playing for fun, most people also like to play bridge to win

I'm leading a heart as well. Usually it won't matter much but I can see declarer winning my (diamond) lead, pulling two rounds of trumps and pitching his stiff heart on the third round of diamonds. (AJ10xx in dummy, declarer with Kx?). I don't think it matters much which heart I lead. The king reduces the chance of partner giving a ruff and a sluff at trick 2.

Nice 2D bid Phil, stick it up to them! :P
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

On the auction (1) DBL (1) P (3NT) all pass, Marshall once led the queen of spades from Qxx, catching AK doubleton in declarer's hand and JTxxx with an outside ace in dummy.
