Our agreement is to bid aggressive in the direct seat (unpassed partner!) and very solid in the passout position. This hand has 2 defensive tricks and almost perfect shape so I'd always dbl.

My agreement is to bid aggressively with distribution, especially shortage, in whichever seat we are in.

But I'm quite happily doubling here and not feeling it is that aggressive.

Always double.

This strategy is a little risky on hands like this, but it sure makes it easier for partner to pass it out when I don't double.

Normal double at all colors. However, if partner were a passed hand I would pass this at vulnerable.

On the minimum side but clear double at all colors. I would still double if the ♠Q were the J, but not if it were the 10.

You are never alone :D Count me in please. Th "Romenian beauty" (dodog, petre etc) team beated Floridans (Garozzo, Reisig etc) in Final were using D cards similar. As partner and teammate Dan adviced me this way. I think 9-11 years passed.
