Playing Saturday, at one point, partner opened 1 and I had AQxxxx and out. In the last round, a regular partner of mine came to our table. I said "Weird hands today, huh?" He said, "Yeah, two 12-card fits." I said, "Yeah, I don't remember the last time I put down ace-queen sixth as dummy." I sort the next hand...xx x Jx AKQJxxxx. Partner opens 1C in first seat and goes on to declare 6 clubs. New record?

I once had matmat tabling an 18 count after I opened light in 3rd seat.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

In Bejing I had AQ10xxx for a suit partner introduced at the 6 level (partner's bids where 1 spade and 6 hearts over my take out double).

On the bidding: (3)-4-(4)
Partner had 7 card diamond support, we did NOT play non leaping michaels (but I was willing to bid 4 next round anyway :D). Partner didn't raise me!!

nice -- my record is 7-card support (Axxxxxx) for a 3-minor preempt

This was a MP hand from 2000 or 2001 -- 4 was the limit of the hand for our side. We declared 5X-2 for -500 at unfavorable.

Was this me? I remember the hand, but I may have been kibitzing.
