Scoring: IMP

1 - (2) - Dbl - (P)
2 - (P) - 4 - AP

LHO leads the Q and RHO plays the 9 (UDCA). '

LHO shifts to the 8, and you win in dummy, RHO playing the 5.

You play a spade to your A and cash the A and ruff a diamond, LHO discarding a spade. Over to you.

cash top heart, then KQ and cross ruff seems to work best.

after going down I might regret for not cashing A later but such is life.

If LHO is 3=3=1=6, 3rd would be ruffed.
From start point, after A, maybe we could play K and KQ, then start cross ruff.

If the second spade honor gets ruffed, you will be short a trick.

Fluffy, I am not sure why cashing the A later is much better, if it gets ruffed you will similarly be held to 9 tricks.

Not much better, but can be better in some cases. The kind of play that you realice only when you see the hand double dummy

I'll try to stick to the plan hoping LHO is 4=2=1=6 or 4=3=1=5.

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

Besides playing for fun, most people also like to play bridge to win
