I wouldn't open 2, it is hard to ask for Q or doubleton, maybe partner has K or J or something. I will just bid 7.

Hi,

Over 4S, I think you are better placed, if oyu use Blackwood.
Ok, you have a club void, but the Ace of club is the only
missing Ace, so you will just do fine, and knwong, that you
can discard a card on the Ace of club has also some value.

Similar, if partner showes 1 kings, with the Ace of clubs,
you are also in good shape.
.................................................................................
I would go with just bidding 6H, but than I prefer going
plus instead of going minus.

With kind regards
Marlowe

As you want to know if partner has a control in , you should not have bid 3 but instead 3NT. This is not to play but a waiting bid without control. If partner can bid something positive next, you have a chance to bid 7.
Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do!

I think the only reason partner couldn't bid a grand was his trumps aren't good enough. Obviously I can see why that is. Since mine are good enough it's up to me, 7.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

:D Perfect analysis. Partner's hand:

Most irritating problem w/o RKC available. Best solution is to carry a cue bidding auction past the 5 level in hopes that partner with AKQxxx or AKxxxxx will get the picture. Of course, just jacking the bidding to 7 will work more often than not, but MP's is a game of percentages, so why risk that when competing against a typical duplicate field where at least half the pairs are not competent slam bidders.
