Scoring: IMP

P-1-P-?

Playing plain vanilla SAYC with no prior discussion or agreements in a BBO IMP pairs game. Opponents are typical players. Partner is an excellent player and an old friend. Unfortunately, we have not played together in many years. So, what bid do you recommend?

I think this hand too weak for a vul 4S bid. Put me in the 2S camp.

4, (insert the 3 letter word with w here)
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Interesting, in my cultural background (and this is not to say I am a cultural person to any extent) 'with ...' usually denotes the first letter of a word.
