Sorry if this has been suggested before:
lin files that are auto-logged are currently named in the format:
mm-dd-yy-s.lin
where
mm = month in range 01 to 12
dd = day in range 01 to 28/29/30/31
yy = year 20yy
s = session
My preferred format would be:
yyyy-mm-dd-s.lin
The reason is so that sorting the files by file-name automatically sorts them also by date of play.

Well, since this is only a problem if you have records spanning multiple years, you could just manually archive your previous years records, thus stopping the problem
This would be a solution that would take more work for you and less work for Fred...

Or you can click file-view-detalils, then and change the details to sort by date saved. As a general rule, the date you save the file will be the same date you played... unless of course you editied the file since you saved it.
