I'll lead heart queen, since I don't want ruffs myself, and I don't want declarer getting ruffs in either his hand or dummy with small trumps. Plus it's the safest lead.

Agree with jd, except that I'm gonna lead a LOW heart, just in case pard has the singleton K or T.

Whoops I read this as J then got confused when i looked at the hand.

A trump looks reasonable.

I hope we can get enough here? There are some players I would be happy to double and others I wouldn't - even at these colours.

I actually like the idea of a low heart as well in case partner has the stiff A, K, or 9.

Actually, if we find pard with some min 15-17 balanced hand, we might not even make 3NT, so dbl seems ok.

Sure except that partner might not double with some of those hands.

I had ignored that aspect, but I doubt I would have passed over the overcall.

BLOOD!!!!, lead a hart, I have no guts for a low one. If partner can have stiff honnor, he can also have stiff small card more likelly.

I don't want to ruff anything, I want to draw trumps.

If we need to hook dummy for some stuff we still have our 3rd high trump and the A as entries.
