Scoring: IMP

2-X-2-X
P-P-3-P
P-4-P-?

Maybe you don't agree with the 1st double. Or do you?

Anyways what now?

Would 4 be a cue for spades, or just showing hearts?

Agree with double, 4 is just a suggestion to play now, I would do that.

disagree with double. I hope 4 is to play. Wouldn't blame p for taking it as a cue, though.

I think 4H is a suggestion to play. It can't really be a cue or a last train for spades can it since we passed 3D, can it?

Yeah I guess I agree with this.

Partner thought 4 was a cue but blew the hand earlier by passing 2X. He held something like:

I disagree with this logic, partner is unlimited.
If partner has just announced slam interest opposite a hand that passed 3 but was good enough to double 2, then 4 is a cuebid. If he made a choice-of-game cuebids with 3 spades and 4-5 hearts, then 4 is to play.
I think 4 is choice of games, a hand with spade slam interest shouldn't waste time passing 2X.
