North:

♠ A7543
♥ KQJ10
♦ AQ62
♣ -

South:

♠ KQ9
♥ -
♦ 73
♣ AKQ107632

Imps Red vs white, bidding with silent opponents. North opens.

Due to the inferiority of the system, any spade contracts will be in North, and any club contracts will be in South.

Obviously any grand will not reach the required 55-56%. However, in many of the cases where a grand is down, a small slam will be down also.

Furthermore, the siding of the contract has some impact.

In a club contract in South, a diamond lead removes the option of a later finesse, while a heart lead is very welcome.

In a spadecontract in North, diamonds are protected, but a heart lead defeats the Grand, if it is not from the ace.

Please share any thouhts you might have.

This is super lol. Believe it or not they don't always lead a diamond vs 7C!

That is so much under the nose, and I didn't see it. Thx.
