I know for a fact that the # 1 selling bridge book for the past decade has been 25 Bridge Conventions You Should Know - it has sold 10,000 copies every year for the past ten years.
That's an extraordinary figure for most books, except the well known perennials.
As for others, depends on the market. But I can confidently say that writing a bridge book is not a path to riches.

The only thing that sells less than bridge books are poetry books. To save trees optimally, its bridge poetry:
And I never, never finesse with nine
What, never?
No, never!
What, never?
Hardly ever!
He hardly ever finesses with nine
Then give three trumps, and one trump more,
For the cardy Captain of the Ninafitlore!
And I never, never finesse with nine

No, never!

Hardly ever!
He hardly ever finesses with nine
Then give three trumps, and one trump more,
For the cardy Captain of the Ninafitlore!
