You hold the following hand:
Scoring: IMP

The auction went (we were silent):
2! - 2NT! (weak with 4+ and 4+M - strong relay)
3! - 3! (max with 4+ - 3+ and forcing)
4 - 6 (5+ - to play)
pass

What suit do you lead?

partner forgot to double 3 ... lead is one of minors but which one ... diamond is very attractive because we hold trump possible trump control and diamond queen. It is very possible that we have to settup now our setting trick before we lose trump control. Club leads works only if partner holds A or KQ while diamond lead only requires K for partner.

strong hand has lots of controls and some source of tricks which might be either hearts or clubs.

Partner is chicane in Spade and still has no bid? I doubt he looks at many high cards in clubs or elsewhere. He sohould have some diamonds too, so declarer is short in that suit.

I lead a spade. If the trump finesse is working, they will always play it and if the need to make the hand on a cross ruff, I better lead a trump now.
Kind Regards

Roland

I led a and it was the only lead that gave the contract away.

Dummy: T7xxx
Declarer: AQx

Partner: J

After every other lead, declarer loses 2 tricks...
