10 hand tourney, 5 rounds. 10 tables in total.
We played the same opponents in the third and fourth rounds.
I would have thought that this was impossible. Anyone know why this might have happened?

Still decidedly intermediate - don't take my guesses as authoritative.

Tourney format = swiss
Tourney format = survivor
Both pair up players by score ( table1 in each section has the teams with the best score) each round, so it is quite normal for those movements.
Tourney format = unclocked . This allows tables that wrap up to grab another pair that is wrapped up and move to the next round. Playbacks are normal
Tourney format = clocked . This does not normally use playbacks. However, if you have 3 tables and 5 rounds, you will have playbacks anyway ( EW up one each round, after 3 rounds they have to go back to table 1 )
