I play it as ignoring the double (when playing it as natural). Don't know if that is standard.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

After 1S (X), Mike Lawrence suggests 2H = "a fair suit, usually 6 hearts or 5 pretty good ones and 6-9 HCP, NF".

My agreement is < 3 spades, 5+hearts and 5-10 HCP (stronger hands redouble).

A med. to max. weak two hand, should deny
a fit for spades.

I want a decent suit (don't we all?) and a little bit more. Maybe xx/KQTxx/Kxx/xxx
I'm not a big fan of bidding on light values although I recognize that it has its successes. If rho is doubling and I have five or more hearts there is some reason to believe it may be tough for either side to find a fit so maybe I should take the opportunity to practice my defense.
