Flashing ads

Hi,

I understand that BBO needs a way to be profitable and I am more than thankful for the great free service that BBO offer to us, but please, please, may you at least avoid displaying flashing ads in the top-right corner of the program window?

I have nothing against a static banner, I even click those occasioanlly to support the great effort the BBO team has put into the software, but tonight my eyes were literally hit with a flashing green "This is not a joke, you have won" add which, after no more than 5 seconds, send me here to write this post...

Well, this exact banner has gone now so I suppose I better be back and play some bridge B)

Well, I know I can block them - and no, you don't even need to practically render your explorer useless. But this is really beside the point - I've just saw similar post about noise-making adds in the other thread in this section.

I am asking about your, the other users, opinion about this issue rather than about ways to circumvent the adds.
