Pard opens 1N, favorable mp's. Do vulnerability and form of scoring matter?

Transfer, even with 65432 for me.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Transfer, wtp?
76432 does not matter.
How many tricks we have for partner in NT? 1 (king)
How many tricks we have for partner in NT? 1 (king) + 1 (
if opener only has 2, and hearts break 4-2, sometimes
partner has 3 or hearts break 3-3 => at least 2).
Of course you know this argument.

I fail to appreciate why simply because we hold low cards we should not transfer. 1NT may fail when 2H may make. Bidding makes it more difficult for the enemy to bid and it could easily be a hand that belongs to them.

I'm tempted by Stayman. But, for me ...2♥ would be corrected with 3♠/2♥ (which might actually be the right contract, strangely), and I am not taking that gamble. If ...2♥ were drop-dead with no corrections, 2♣ for me.
Otherwise, yeah transfer. Hate it.

"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

I actually play by agreement I transfer (or anyway don't pass 1NT) 100% of the time with a five card major. I think it's the right thing to do bridgewise, and that way if you pass and later balance into a major you can be sure it's a four card suit with another place to play.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Agree with this.

Weeeee first ever unanimous poll
Our opps passed 1NT and just made it or +1 and 2h would have been very bad. I would have transfered without much thought but was wondering if this was clear or not.
edit:
41-1
