2 would be nat.No pen

I prefer 2C since im bidding constructively here. It would help to know what partner responses will be.

2D diamonds
2H pass or correct
2S spades.

or

2D inv values or better
2H P/ or C
2S P/C

or

2D pick your M
2M to play

etc...
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

You MUST have a penalty double vs this. Anyways, playing your system I would bid 2S then change my system.

Agree with Jlall. The weak NT's advantage (over strong NT) is that it can be opened more frequently, has more pre-emptive effect and often wins the early part score battle quickly. It's natural disadvantage is when it goes for a number from time to time. If you don't have a penalty double, you take away that disadvantage.

Given the methods, I guess I'll bid 2, it being slightly safer than 2 and leaving more room for a constructive auction should pard have a few points over there.
The difference between theory and practice is that in theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice, there is.
