p-p-1♠-X
2NT-3♣-p-3♠
X-p-p-4♣

2NT showed some sort of 4 card fit/limit raise/something
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Yes. 3♠ was game-forcing.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Yes, and passing 3♠ x-ed should show some interest.

I think XX to show 1st round, bid to show 2nd round and pass to show no control is the standard treatment. After a pass 4C isnt GF since 3S could be a half a stopper bid.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."
