Is Clee playing a multi 2D? Then 2NT. If, as I suspect, Clee is playing a natural weak 2 then pass every time and there's a good chance he makes it.

Assuming multi, if partner is a moderate to sound preempter (by nature or seat or vul), then I want to be in game. 4♦ asking partner to bid their suit in this case (or 4H p/c if you do not play this).

If partner is an aggressive preempter, then 2NT then bidding game if max.
