The difference between theory and practice is that in theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice, there is.

1. ♠A, change the ♥J to low and I would lead trumps
2. ♠K, not playing preemptor for 2 aces
3. ♥A, don't like any lead
4. 3♣
5. Dbl, close
6. pass

1. ♥3. I think a trump lead is pretty much obligated
2. ♠K, preempter shouldn't have 2 Aces. Only A, J and 9 are left. If LHO has them all we won't be able to make, so the K is clear. Then we'll need to ruff some ♦s to shorten dummy's trumps to equal length as LHO.
3. Why didn't I support partner's ♥s??
I guess it's rotated somehow. Then I lead ♦3.
4. 3♣ wtp
5. pass
6. Dbl

- Low trump
- ♠K
- ♥A, worst of evils
- 2♣. I would bid 3♣ if not Ghestem.
- Double, minimum but have to bid with shortage
- Pass - double is killing partner

1. Hmm. Anything might cost. I'm leaning towards a diamond.
2. SK. Don't think I would be intending to run the ST if LHO had switched to a minor
3. Do you mean West was dealer but East opened? If not, how come i didn't raise? Anyway, I lead the HA
4. 3C if I wasn't playing ghestem. But that now leaves 2C for me.
5. X
6. Would have X'd 2C the round before. But now..hmm pass

Sorry, board 3 you are the 1♥ bidder (hence being on lead against 3♠). I just had the dealer as east instead of west.
The difference between theory and practice is that in theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice, there is.

I think that 3♠ was one of the weirdest bids I've seen lately.
Sorry not to have much to contribute here.

1. Jack of H
2. King of spades
3. Ace of Heart
4. 1 NT, okay this is forbidden, so 2 Club
5. X
6. pass, would have bid 2 Heart after 1 Spade.
