You could also say, it was unlucky that it was not Xed,
because it may have teached you a lesson, or for that
matter me, if I had played instead of you.

But in the given situation, the risk of being Xed is fairly
small, given that the partner of the preemptor is a passed
hand, and the preempt happened in 3rd place.
