What do you bid (non Vuln) at IMPS holding:
♠ K Q T 9 7 6
♥ K Q
♣ x x
==============
Bidding goes
3♣ p p 3♦
p ?
Now what do you bid?

3S, the hand is dead min, ... but I cant bring
myself to see me passing.
Having passed the first time, I now bid 4S, a
fit jump.
As it is, 4S may well be influenced by my
intention to bid 3S the round before.
With kind regards

Over 3D I just bid 3S, don't see much reason to do anything else.

You don't think that two K-Q combo's, three-card support, and a spade suit playable opposite a stiff Jack is worthy of a fit-jump?

3♠ the 2nd time, although I don't hate 4♠, perhaps we belong elsewhere and perhaps PD just scraped up the balancing 3♦ bid and game has no chance.
Hmmm..the 3rd time..well since PD voluntarily repeated his ♦ and one would expect if he wanted to continue to game, he'd raise ♠ with Hx, I suspect that we rate to hold a combined 7.5♠ and 9.5♦. But does that mean that 5♦ is better than 4♠ ?
I am totally on the fence between 4♠ and 5♦ now. Perhaps pass is correct and we have no game, but I am bidding game here. I lean very slightly towards the 10 trick game with 4♠ but must admit I'll run to 5♦ if doubled.

I pass now. My hand is not worth much in the absence of a spades fit.

3♠ looks kind of obvious, but wouldn't you make the same call with something like: KQxxx, Axxx, x, xxx? I'm really afraid of pard passing with something like: Jx Axx AKxxxx xx so I'll bite the bullet and bid 4♠.
I don't define this as a FJ by the way.

4♠ looks right now. It pays off big when it makes. 5♦ could be right, but pard would have to have a very specific hand like: x Axxx AKJxxxx x.
